First, don’t even think about multi-part Tweets. People find them annoying and hard to read.. They don’t work as well as you might think. Find a way to get your idea into those 140 characters.

Second, use abbreviations while stopping short of acting like some high using a text messenger. It’s okay to shorten a word or two in a Tweet, but only if you’re 100% sure that it retains absolute readability.

Third, practice makes perfect. Keep on Tweeting. Eventually, you’ll begin to get a sense of the space you really have and you’ll find ways to communicate a great deal in a limited space. Keep working and improving.
